Description of Assistance
The two types of patent assistance we offer are... "Provisional Patent Application Assistance" and "Regular Patent Application Assistance".
We also offer engineering services at an hourly rate of $100.00 as well as drawing services at an hourly rate of $60.00. These services are offered beginning with a 2hr minimum and are then billed at 30 minute increments.

What is a Provisional Patent Application?
A provisional patent application is about one thing. It is about the thing we call "time". The provisional patent application is like having extra time.
Let me explain. Suppose two individuals are working on the same invention idea and they both file their applications with the Patent Office on the same day. One of them is received at 9:00am and the other at 9:01am. Guess who, assuming a patent is eventually awarded, is going to get the patent? Let me tell you. The one that received the 9:00am time stamp from the Patent Office is going to be the one that is awarded the patent because they beat the other inventor to the finish line. It is first come first serve!
The provisional patent assistance option is a very prudent one to use when your resources are temporarily limited. This option will afford you an entire year to get your finances in order and to further develop your idea without the fear of losing it to another person or corporation.
What must be understood about this option is that a PPA (provisional patent application) will expire at the end of 12 months unless it is followed up with a regular patent application. This will not be seen as a draw back if you keep your eyes on the big picture.... getting yourself protected and your financial resources! Using this option will give you the peace of mind you need while you take time to make a calculated decision concerning filing a regular patent application. It is the best insurance a person could get in this type of situation. You will get your "time-stamp" with the USPTO and some breathing room to get your finances in order, continue your research / development process, secure investors; whatever reason you have.
What is a Regular Patent Application?
A regular patent application is exactly what it is called. It is the regular application required by the Patent Office to begin processing your idea through their system in order to determine if it warrants patent protection. It is the full paperwork necessary to file.
There is MAJOR time and work that we put into the preparation of your regular patent application. We make sure it is done thoroughly and correctly. The complexity of your idea or design determines the amount of time it will take us to prepare your paperwork but an average time is 30 days.
You can be sure of this, when you choose this option, everything you need to file for regular patent protection will be done. You will be on your way towards what might make you a legitimate patented inventor!
